RESTAURANT ALAUS KELIAS

ALAUS KELIAS (Beer Route) restaurant offers a wide range of educational programs. Exquisite cuisine, local and world cuisine specialties prepared by well-known chefs – one of the best in the region. The restaurant contains 4 halls and two terraces and can serve up to 200 guests.

Firstly, you will be guided of the Rinkuškiai Brewery; the guide will tell you how craft Lithuanian beer is made following the old brewing traditions. After returning from the Brewery, you will visit our museum, and the Brewer himself called Žaldokas will tell you about the subtleties of the old brewing while standing near the ancient garner of the Brewer. Afterwards, you will taste hot meals (if you would like to eat a vegetarian dish, just inform us in advance), gourmet snacks prepared by our chef, and you will learn to combine them with different 8 types of beer with the help of our guide. While playing an accordion, the Brewer Žaldokas will tell you what is a wooden barrel stopper, gatherings or how much beer was prepared by ancient Lithuanians for one feast celebration, with the help of an accordion.

You will be divided into teams after the arrival; then you will be guided of the Brewery, the guide will tell you how craft Lithuanian beer is made following the old brewing traditions. After a tour, you will enjoy a variety of snacks in the Restaurant Alaus Kelias, the guide will introduce you to 7 types of beer but you have not been divided into teams uselessly, i.e. you will have a real mental exercise from the very beginning of Your Tour, we will check which team listened deeper at the end of the program! Furthermore, we will not let you go home feeling hunger, you will enjoy hot meals after the program (if you would like to eat a vegetarian dish, just inform us in advance).

After the arrival you will see how craft Lithuanian beer is made in one of the most modern Rinkuskiai brewery, following the old brewing traditions. The guide will tell you about each of the five brewing stages, and once you know all the delicacies of the brewery, we will invite you to the Restaurant Alaus Kelias where you could taste a variety of snacks and combine them with 7 different types of beer, and nourishing hot meals bring hot will be provided to the very hungry ones (if you would like to eat a vegetarian dish, just inform us in advance).

Today’s pace of life is such that there is a part of people who are in a hurry even in their holidays, and they want to see and to get to know more things. For this reason, we have specially designed a short programme for you in order to get acquainted yourself with brewing peculiarities and our made craft beer. Depending on the programme duration, the guide will show you the Brewery, you will visit our museum, and you will learn how Lithuanians made beer many years ago standing near the authentic ancient garner. Later you will taste 6 different beers, combining them with authentic snacks prepared according to family recipes.

Užkandžiai

Price: 19 € per person with the guided tour of the factory (90 min).

You will visit the Brewery where the guide will tell you about the peculiarities of beer and kvass making, you visit our museum from what Rinkuškiai started its activity 26 years ago. Later, in the Restaurant Alaus Kelias, you will taste our ‘‘Old Cellar’’ kvass, water is taken from a 136-meter deep well, and freshwater soft drinks. The kitchen chef will take care that you are not left hungry: you will taste a delicious hot meal prepared by him (if you would like to eat a vegetarian dish, just inform us in advance).

During the guided tour of the Brewery, the guide will show you the beer making process, namely from the grind of malt to the label on the bottle. Having found out what is a mash and a saladine, you will go to our museum where you will see how Rinkuškiai started its activity in 1991, you will stop at the ancient authentic garner and find out what kind of brewing traditions were kept by brewers in ancient years.

Take a stroll through the spacious Mantagailiškis Manor Park (a mansion dating back to the 16th century), and play the unique game Monteball which was developed and tested in 2010. The principle of the game is to kick a ball into the holes made in in the meadow of the park, making the smallest number of kicks but everything is not so simple while the Park’s size is about 10 ha, the ball cannot be kicked into the droplet (and there will be 15 droplets around You!) and, most importantly, no swords! The open - air game in is the perfect way to take a break with your friends or colleagues!
